This week, a guest – Olga Lyubomirivna Ivankiv, came to our art therapy class for children in the hematological oncology department of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. This bright person is the head of the arts group "Small Academy of Folk Crafts" in Otynia, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Mrs. Olga conducted a master class on Easter eggs for small and slightly older fidgets.
Everyone had the opportunity to paint his or her own Easter egg. Most of the participants of art therapy admitted that for the first time in their lives they held a real stick for Easter egg painting in their hands, with the help of which they managed to apply beautiful and unique ornaments to the egg.
Boys and girls not only learned how to paint a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg with wax, but also learned a lot of interesting things from Olga Lyubomirivna about the symbolism of ornaments, customs and traditions of the Ukrainian people during the Easter holidays.
