The children’s camping “House of Angels” opened its doors to twenty-five orphans, children deprived of parental care and children in difficult life circumstances.
The participants of the week-long summer camp were boys and girls from the Dolyna Regional Center for Social Support of Children and Families “Warm House” and the Interregional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children, located in Medynya village, Halych territorial community.
The summer vacation program was full of interesting excursions and entertainment activities. The children had the opportunity to visit the aqua park in Lviv, try themselves as rock climbers in the rock-cave complex “Rocks of Dovbush”, visited the cinema where they watched a new 3-D cartoon, and attended a modern dance master class at the “Gratsia” school of Larisa Kordasevych. Excursions on the Carpathian tram and the monasteries of the Dolyna territorial community became informative.
Throughout the rest, the children had access to the library of the children’s camping, which has more than 300 Ukrainian-language children’s books, a playroom, sports simulators and laptops.
The foundation team paid a lot of attention to the organization of children's meals. The daily diet consisted of fresh fruits, vegetables, juices, fish, and meat. Of course, there was ice cream, sweets and fun picnics. The children happily went to their schools, and we are glad that we managed to do everything.
We would like to thank our friends for their support in organizing a summer holiday for children deprived of parental care and care, namely: ICO CF “New Ukraine”, Larisa Kordasevich (dance studio “Gratsia”), Maryana Ruzhevich (LLC “Green Travel”), Roman Yakymiv (Cinema “Chaplin”), the administration of the “Beach” aqua park, the McDonald’s team.
